You take care of what needs to be done. You show up for the people who depend on you. You keep going, even when you’re tired.
Then, somewhere between the drive home, folding laundry, and lying awake at night, a question slips through:
When did I stop feeling like me?

There was a time when I believed that if I could just accomplish a little more, create a little more freedom, or change something about my circumstances, I would finally feel the
way I thought I was supposed to feel.
But even with a life I was deeply grateful for, something still felt missing.
For a long time, I didn't understand why.
What I eventually discovered changed not only the way I lived, but the way I understood myself.
And that's why I wrote The Embody Her Method™.
Not because I have everything figured out. Not because my life is perfect. But because I began to recognize how easily we can lose ourselves while doing everything we believe we're supposed to do.
I wanted to write the kind of book that doesn't simply tell you to think differently or become a better version of yourself.
I wanted to help you understand why you've been feeling the way you do, why certain patterns are so difficult to change, and how
you can begin trusting yourself again.
You'll find pieces of my story in these pages. But my hope is that somewhere along the way, you'll begin recognizing pieces of your own.
Because this book was never about becoming someone else.
It's about finding your way back to yourself.
With love,
Shana
A DIFFERENT WAY FORWARD
You don't need to become someone else.
You need to reconnect
with yourself.
The Embody Her Method™ is a journey of rebuilding self-trust, creating safety
within yourself, and learning to move toward the life you desire without constantly fighting against yourself.
The Broken Egg Moment
Years later, after moving to Mexico, I had a moment that seemed completely ordinary.
I was making breakfast one morning when I accidentally dropped an entire dozen of eggs onto my kitchen floor.
They shattered everywhere.
For just a second...
Time slowed down.
Years earlier, I already know exactly how
I would've reacted.
I would've yelled a few curse words.
Sighed in frustration.
Stood there feeling completely overwhelmed that I now had to clean
up this huge mess
before I could even start my day.
If I was already stressed...
I might have even cried.
Not because of the eggs.
Because they would've felt like one
more thing.
One more inconvenience.
One more reason to believe the day
was already ruined.
But this time...
Something different happened.
I looked down at the floor.
Took a slow breath.
Smiled.
And quietly said,
"It's okay... they're just eggs."
Then I grabbed some paper towels and started cleaning them up.
That was it.
No story.
No spiral.
No ruined morning.
No carrying that frustration into the rest
of my day. Standing there in my kitchen,
I remember thinking,
"When did that change?"
Because I hadn't been trying to react differently that morning.
It simply happened.
Then I started thinking about all the other little moments I hadn't paid attention to.
Traffic no longer upset me the way it used to.
Instead of gripping the steering wheel in frustration, I'd catch myself thinking,
"At least I have air conditioning and
good music to listen to."
If I forgot something at the grocery store,
I no longer turned it into proof that
I was scattered or failing.
I'd simply think,
"That's okay. I'll pick it up next time."
If my plans changed unexpectedly...
I adapted instead of unraveling.
Little by little, I realized something incredible.
I had been practicing peace
long before I noticed I had
become more peaceful.
It wasn't one life-changing breakthrough.
It was hundreds of ordinary moments where
I had unknowingly chosen a different response.
That's when I finally understood something
I wish someone had explained to me
years earlier.
Your nervous system doesn't change because you master one big moment.
It changes because of the hundreds of small moments where you quietly teach your body,
"This isn't an emergency."
THE REALIZATION
The eggs weren't different.
The traffic wasn't different.
Life wasn't different.
I was.
THE EMBODY HER METHOD™
The Four Stages of Self
Before you can change the way
you move through life, it helps
to understand the version of
yourself that's been leading.
The version of you that learned how to survive. She carries more than she should, keeps everyone else happy, and
finds safety in staying in control.
The version of you beginning to question the life you've built. Something feels missing, even when you have so much to be grateful for. Something inside you is waking up.
You're learning to trust yourself again. Some days you feel hopeful; other days you fall back into old patterns. You're practicing, growing, and beginning to choose differently, even when the path ahead feels uncertain.
The version of you who knows how to return to herself. Life isn't perfect, and difficult moments still happen. But you've learned to trust yourself, find your way back to peace, and move through life without losing yourself.
You can spend years building a life that looks beautiful on theoutside while quietly wondering why something still feels missing.
The Embody Her Method™ is an invitation to understand the story you've been living,
reconnect with yourself, and begin rebuilding
the trust that allows you to move through life differently.
Through personal storytelling, reflection, and gentle practices, you'll discover that transformation isn't about becoming someone
new. It's about remembering the woman you've always been beneath the expectations, fear, and pressure to keep proving yourself.
